WHAT
Basic
Organic Vegetable Gardening Workshop: Workshop includes a one hour
class followed by a Q&A session with a Master Gardener. This
workshop is designed for
the beginning gardener or those with limited experience. Topics include
site selection, bed building, planting calendar, fertilizers, composting,
pest and weed control and much more.

Presented
by Tualatin Community Garden at 20500 SW Boones Ferry Rd (class will
be held at Boones Ferry Community Church) on Friday, April 16 at
7:00 p.m.
DONATION
A
donation of $25 to Community Garden Creators is suggested for
the workshop, however we will accept
any size donation. Our goal is to create gardens and grow gardeners.

WORKSHOP
LEADER
These
workshops will be led by the founder of CGC, Tim Lanfri. Tim is a
lifelong backyard food gardener, a Master Gardener and has completed the
OSU Organic Gardening Certificate Training
program. Tim has over thirty
years of gardening experience in the Portland area and has developed
gardening techniques that work well in our Pacific NW climate.
Tim’s goal in these workshops is to pass his gardening knowledge
along to the next generation of backyard food gardeners.
